The EyeFind Research Grant Program provides supplemental funding of up to $5,000 per project to assist researchers with procurement of human eye tissue from eye banks for use in a well-conceived research project. The use of human tissue samples can be critical to effectively addressing a researcher's scientific questions, particularly those involving uniquely human ocular disease. These grants stand to benefit the entire eye and vision research community and grantees are expected to submit a final report of their findings at the conclusion of the grant.
Supported by the ARVO Foundation, the EyeFind Research Grant Program launched in January 2020. The first round of grants awards were announced in July 2020.
2024 application period (Cycle 2) opens Sept. 1 - Oct. 31
