Preservation of retinal cells
1pm - 2:30pm
This session will address the neuroprotection of retinal ganglion cells (RGCs), Gene therapy on Müller glia to preserve photoreceptors, and how small molecule drugs can be used as gene agnostic therapy.
Regeneration of retinal cells
2:30 - 4pm
This session will discuss the regeneration of retinal cells from retinal pigment epithelial cells and from Müller glia.
Replacement of retinal cells
4 - 5pm
This session will discuss the the generation and transplantation of photoreceptors and retinal pigment epithelium (RPE).
